Our Jobmann Dance-Group decided to spend four days in London. We flew from Germany "Düsseldorf-Weeze" to London Stanstad with Ryanair. In the morning we went with several cars to the airport. We arrived about 90 minutes before departure.

Bild_30 The musical STOMP

Everybody of us want to see this musical and in the evening we went to the "Vaudeville Theatre" to see it. Notify, during the show there's no speech, no dialogue, not even a plot.
Bild_31

STOMP is a movement, of bodies, objects and sounds. They use daily objects in non-traditional ways to animate the vistors.
Bild_32

For example, they created a dance routine based around sweeping! Or have you ever composed a symphony using only matchbooks as instruments?
Bild_33

Here are a few things, which are used inside the show: Brooms, Lids, Short Bins, Sand, Drumsticks, Water and garbage pails. Confused? We found it ingenious!

2. Day with London-Pass:
Tower of London, Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, London Aquarium, Tate Modern

Bild_34 Tower of London

Did you know…London is the most expensive city in Europe, and the second most expensive in the world after Tokyo. Therefore bought our Dancing Teacher the London-Pass for all of us. (30 GBP/Person)
Bild_35

How The London-Pass works:

The London Pass offers free entry to more than 55 of London’s most popular tourist and sightseeing attractions - once you’ve bought your London Pass, you don’t have to pay to get into any of the attractions covered by the pass.
Bild_36

To see the full list of all attractions included in the London Pass click here.

The transport option that comes with the London Pass, if you choose to buy it, is the London Underground Travelcard. This allows you unlimited travel, within the times and dates specified, on most of the public transport available around London.
Bild_37

With London-pass everybody could save time. With this pass you feel like a VIP. Just skip the ticket lines and jump to the front of the attraction. The first place that we visited: "The Tower of London" to see the crown jewels.

The Crown Jewels have been kept at the Tower of London since 1303, after they were stolen from Westminster Abbey.
Bild_42 Ravens

It had been thought that there have been at least six ravens in residence at the Tower for centuries. It was said that Charles II ordered their removal following complaints from John Flamsteed, the Royal Astronomer.
Bild_43

However, they were not removed because Charles was then told of the legend that if the ravens ever leave the Tower of London, the White Tower, the Monarchy, and the entire Kingdom would fall.
