One week introduction in New York:
| New Yorker Aupairgroup | This picture was made in New York in front of the Rockefeller Center. Every evening we built small groups to investigate the town.
| Near our hotel | Here you can see me, when I ate my dinner with some other aupairs. Between this time we were only four boys and it was not difficult to find company for the night.
| Tic Tac To-Restaurant | Every morning we took our breakfast in the hotel. It includes a restaurant built with in the 60 year styl.
| Nightlife | In the night I went through the Avenue's looking after the Nightlife. The advertising was very big and everywhere it was as light as day. The shops were open until 3 o'clock, some the hole night long.
| Phantom of the Opera | Yes, I have been there and I must say there are some differents between the german and the english vision. Usually I would like to go to the musical: "CATS" but it was already closed on my last day.
| New York Police Department | On every corner of the streets is a police man. The criminal rate in New York is very flat. Very good, continue!!!!
| Shoppig!!!! | Nobody can imagine it but it is true. The limusin is here so often like the car beetle in germany.
| Interior view of a shopping center | Is this not a very good place to spend all his money? Everybody is doing the best so that the customer is the prince and you can feel it when you enter one of these shops.
| Rockefeller Center | This is the ice-rink in front of the Rockefeller Center!!! Sorry, but this is the only picture that I had. Traffic The traffic is unbeliveable! When I came to New York for the first time, I thought: "Oh, good!!!" While I was walking on the side walk, a taxidriver thought he had the loudest horn so he hit the horn really hard and yelled to the cars in front of him "Go away!" You may think that all of New York's streets are filled with bumper cars! On my part, hi, Oliver Schmidt, I think New York is a dream land for you to drive! |
---|
When I was in New York, I saw and was in Times Square, Rockafeller Center, The Empire State building, 5th Avenue, Madison Square Garden, Broaday and St. Patricks Cathedral. If anybody wants to spend a little money, New York is a very good place to go shopping. |
